Venue: Teams
Industrial biotechnology will play a major role in converting existing processes and products into more sustainable ones and creating new innovative options. Microbial production, enzyme technology and green chemistry will enable the creation of new, bio-based value chains. Holistic use of side streams and bio-based raw materials instead of fossil-based materials requires new processes and scale-up.
The theme of the event is Bringing industrial biotechnology innovations into pilots and demonstrations.
In this event you will hear compelling stories of start-up companies that develop sustainable bioprocesses for the production of proteins for food and animal feed. Also, how the transformation of larger companies towards bioeconomy is progressing. Close collaboration between academia and industries is required to unlock the full potential of higher value products. New platforms and innovation ecosystems are emerging.
